Dr. Pollyea received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago Hospital and then served as Chief Medical Resident at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. He completed a medical oncology and hematology fellowship at Stanford University. He is currently Chair of the NCCN Guidelines on Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
